Odyssey of the Mind is a unique program that provides children with the opportunity to develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.This program fosters teamwork and teaches students analytical and strategic planning skills. Through its challenges, it integrates subjects like Science, Technology, Art, Engineering, and Math (STEAM).

Odyssey of the Mind helps build students’ self-confidence, improves their public speaking skills, and develops resilience and adaptability. It promotes an interdisciplinary learning approach that prepares students to solve real-world problems.

Participants get opportunities for global interaction, collaborating with peers from around the world, and receive guidance from experienced coaches and mentors. the program makes learning fun and engaging increasing motivation and excitement through competitions.

The core model of Odyssey of the Mind (OOTM) – CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service) – engages students in a variety of enjoyable and meaningful experiences. The mission of OOTM, “to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through creativity, innovation, intercultural understanding, and respect,” aligns closely with the educational goals of CBSE, IB, ICSE, and other state boards

The Odyssey of the Mind program was co-founded by C. Samuel Micklus and Theodore Gourley in 1978 at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Odyssey of the Mind Program is open to all students over its 46 years of history. Millions of students from countries including Australia, China, Canada, Germany, Hongkong, Japan, India, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and practically every state in the USA participate at the World Finals.
